Actual State Councilor and Chief Surgeon in Port Arthur Viktor Borisovich Gyubbenet (Виктор Борисович Гюббенет; 1862 - not earlier than 1938). With the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese War, he was appointed corps surgeon of the 3rd Siberian Army Corps, and was chief surgeon in Port Arthur, where he supervised the work of hospitals throughout the siege. He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav, 2nd degree with swords, and the Order of St. Vladimir, 3rd degree with swords, as well as the rank of actual state councilor (November 6, 1905). On November 6, 1907, he was appointed consultant to the Nikolaev Military Hospital. In 1910, he was appointed an advisory member of the military sanitary scientific committee, while retaining the position of consultant at the hospital. On February 19, 1912, he was appointed a permanent member of the military sanitary scientific committee. During World War I, he was the head of the military sanitary unit of the Western Front, and was promoted to privy councillor on 28 December 1914. During the Civil War, he participated in the White movement in the South of Russia, and from 19 February 1919, he was in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of South Russia. In exile in England. On 29 May 1938, he celebrated the 50th anniversary of his service and medical activity, in connection with which he received addresses and greetings from the Union of Disabled People, the Academic Group, the Russian Colony in London, the Society of Russian Doctors in London and other émigré organizations. His subsequent fate is unknown.​
