Badge of the 1st Battery of the 12th Artillery Brigade in commemoration of its 100th anniversary (November 29, 1896) was approved on October 4, 1912, under the brigade commander, Major General S.N. Kolpakov. The badge is a gold cross in the shape of the St. George's Cross, with crossed cannons (the left one gold, the right one blued) between its arms. In the center of the cross is a round gold medallion, covered in red enamel, bearing the gold combined monogram of Emperors Paul I and Nicholas II. The medallion is surmounted by a gold Imperial crown. On the horizontal arms of the cross are the raised gold dates "1796" and "1896."
