Shinminkai Flag of 2nd type was introduced on March 1, 1943 (1st type https://asiamedals.info/threads/new...he-republic-of-china-shinminkai-badges.26468/).

Shinminkai (新民会) was a pro-japan political organization that founded in December 1937 in occupied North China by support from Japanese Imperial Army. Flag of 2nd type contains a red stylized Kanji character "亜"（Ah）stands for Asia; a white circle; and in the white circle a black stylized character "黻" (Fu) in ancient Chinese script. Traditionally it symbolizes knowing right from wrong; however in the context of the Sino-Japanese War, the emblem could simultaneously resembles "purify spirit of Asian people from the influence of Communism" and the ideogram for Asia (亞), a reference to the Imperial Japanese ambition for a "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".​
