2nd class breast star with seven stars from 1850 - 1863 time period.

Silver, enamel.
Size 79 mm.

Marked with a French silver hallmark "boar's head" .

Note that medallion iconography is very close to a Kretly-made lions https://asiamedals.info/threads/orders-of-the-lion-and-sun-made-by-kretly-paris.27997/. No wonder. Lemaitre was a supplier of Kretly until 1864 and after 1900 as the only individual named Kretly registered as a jeweler was active 1864-1900 (I'd like to thank for this valuable information my colleague JLG).

Formally order was made (or sold) by Boullanger https://asiamedals.info/threads/orders-of-the-lion-and-sun-made-by-boullanger-paris.26032. It is also has a typical Boullanger iconography.

The ring also marked with a partly readable mark. It could be Lemaitre workshop mark "EL (for Edmond Lemaître) with a grenade with 4 flames in the center".
