Orders of Saint Anna with Swords made in gold by Eduard /ИЛ/

Marked with St. Petersburg assay office gold hallmark [56, kokoshnik facing left, AR /AР/ for the Alexander Romanov /Александр Васильевич Романов/ assay district manager] from 1904-1908 time period and partly readable maker's marks "ИЛ, "Эдуардъ". On the hilt of the sword on the right - the mark of the same assay office in a round shield [female head in a kokoshnik to the left, AR].

Marked with a double stamped St. Petersburg assay office gold hallmark [56, kokoshnik facing left, AR /AР/ for the Alexander Romanov /Александр Васильевич Романов/ assay district manager] from 1904-1908 time period and maker's marks "ИЛ, "Эдуардъ". One sword hilt marked with a St. Petersburg assay office mark in a round shield [female head in a kokoshnik to the left, AR]. At least one grid was restored. Enamel was also paertly restored. Swords pommels have three balls.

Marked with a maker's mark "ИЛ" for Eduard workshop (personal mark of workshop jeweler Johann Gustavovich Linstead/Иоганн Густавович Линстед active until 1910), barely readable "Eduard" mark, St. Petersburg assay office gold hallmark [56, kokoshnik facing left, ?] from 1899-1908 time period is only partly readable. Both swords hilts marked ring marked with round St. Petersburg assay office hallmarks "kokoshnik to the left, initials of the assay inspector of the St. Petersburg assay office "ЯЛ/YL" (Яков Ляпунов/Yakov Lyapunov)" from 1899-1904 time period.

Note the incorrect "ИЛ" mark /N instead of И/.
