Privately-comissioned 2nd class cross of Saint Anna order that was made sometime between 1904 and 1908.

Gold, enamel.
Size 45 mm.

Marked with a St. Petersburg assay office gold hallmark "56, kokoshnik to the left, initials of the assay inspector of the St. Petersburg assay office AR /AР/ for the Alexander Romanov /Александр Васильевич Романов/" from 1904-1908 time period and unreadable maker's mark. Obverse and reverse fixation rings are the other way around.
