Order of St.Anna breast stars with Swords made by Albert Keibel /AK/ from 1889-1904 time period

Breast star with swords awarded to unidentified Japanese military officer for the suppression of Boxer Rebellion.

Silver, gilt, enamel.

Marked with a St. Petersburg assay office silver hallmark "84, kokoshnik to the left, initials of the assay inspector of the St. Petersburg assay office "ЯЛ/YL" (Яков Ляпунов/Yakov Lyapunov)" from 1899-1904 time period, "double-headed eagle" and "AK" for Albert Keibel. Pin marked with St. Petersburg assay office round mark "kokoshnik to the left, initials of the assay inspector of the St. Petersburg assay office "ЯЛ/YL", "double-headed eagle" and two "Keibel" marks. Enamel on the cross inside the central medallion was partly restored.
