Konstantin Klavdievich Maksimovich (Константин Клавдиевич Максимович; May 14, 1849 – after 1917) was a Russian military and statesman, adjutant general (July 30, 1904), and cavalry general (December 6, 1906). He received his education in His Majesty's Page Corps , after graduating in 1867, he was released with the rank of cornet into His Majesty's Life Guards Cavalry Regiment . He served in the regiment (promoted to the rank of lieutenant - 03/28/1871, staff captain - 08/30/1873. In 1874 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff (1st category). On 04/04/1876 he was promoted to the rank of captain , in the rank of colonel from 01/06/1879. In 1879 he was enrolled in the Retinue of His Majesty with the rank of aide-de-camp. Participant in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78. From 09/03/1884 in the position of commander of the 28th Dragoon Novgorod King of Württemberg Wilhelm II Regiment ( Sumy , Kharkov province ), from 03/16/1886 commander, and with the production On 04/09/1889, he was promoted to the rank of major general and became commander of the Life Guards Horse Grenadier Regiment (Stary Peterhof ). From 11/28/1892, he was commander of the 1st brigade (regiments: Life Guards Horse Grenadier and Life Guards Uhlan of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Alexandra Feodorovna) of the 2nd Guards Cavalry Division ( St. Petersburg ). From 02/24/1893, he was appointed military governor of the Ural region , acting ataman of the Ural Cossack army and commander of all troops stationed in the Ural region. From 02/23/1899 - acting military ataman of the Don Cossack army . On 19 February 1905 he was appointed Governor-General of Warsaw and Commander of the Warsaw Military District . On 15 August 1905 he was replaced by General G.A. Skalon . From 21 December 1908 - Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Finding Placements for Military Officers Who Suffered in the War with Japan, chaired by Her Imperial Majesty Empress Alexandra Feodorovna; from 18 December 1915 - Assistant to the Commander of the Imperial Headquarters .
On March 21, 1917, he was stripped of the rank of Adjutant General in connection with the abolition of all military court ranks.
On March 22, 1917, General of Cavalry Maksimovich, listed in the Guards Cavalry and serving in the Don and Ural Cossack Troops, assistant to the commander of the former imperial headquarters, was dismissed from service due to illness, with his uniform and pension.
After the revolution he emigrated (according to other sources, he was shot by the Bolsheviks).
