The Japan Goodwill Association/日本善行会 was established in 1937. Currently there are 76 branches all over Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa, and more than 3 500 members work together under the slogan "Good deeds brighten society/善行は社会を明るくするともし火". Members of association work together to promote and enlighten the spirit of good deeds, such as the sound development of young people, prevention of misconduct activities, traffic safety campaigns, visits to social welfare facilities and environmental beautification campaigns.
