Fake 2nd class Saint Anna orders with Diamonds

All these fake crosses were made sometime around 1970s/1980s.

Fake 2nd class cross from Ex-Paul Sanders collection.

Gold, silver, strass stones, enamel.

Medallions. Obverse medallion was taken from original Keibel-made St. Anna order cross.

Fake 2nd class cross with practically identical iconography to the "black" cross from Ex Paul Sanders collection but with red enamel and checkered guilloché /atypical for a Russian-made crosses/.

Fake 2nd class with added case and original award document to the 2nd class cross with diamonds, awarded to the Italian Sculptor Ettore Ximenes, issued in St. Petersburg on March 21st, 1912. Ettore Ximenes (1855–1925) was one of the most famous Italian sculptors of his time, whose works are in many museums and cities all over Europe and the Americas. He was the author of the monument to Tsar Aleksander II in Kiev that was dismantled by the Soviet authorities in November 1920 after the establishment of Soviet power in Ukraine.​
