Gold round medallion, having on top and at the bottom part projections, resembling bulb-shaped church cupolas. The medallion consists of a blue enamel central circle surrounded by a white enamel stripe. On the medallion are the interlaced gold monograms of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna (the latter in the form of the letter A) topped by a gold Imperial crown with gold ribbons falling from under it and encircled with a gold wreath of laurel and oak branches. On the ribbon is the gold inscription: «Москва май AW4S г.» (Moscow May 1896). On the upper projection are depicted figured twigs, on the lower projection is placed an unrolled scroll with a goose-guile on it.
