Daiji Ichikawa studied philosophy in Germany from 1900 to 1904, and then national economics until 1908. At the same time, he was a lecturer at the Berlin School of Oriental Languages from 1905 to 1908 /Seminar für Orientalische Sprachen zu Berlin was founded in 1887 as an affiliated higher education institution of the University of Berlin/.
