Jetton was approved by the Emperor in 1905. Jettons were commissioned by Empress Maria Feodorovna (1847-1928) and were worn on a chain. On the front side of the jetton, under the imperial crown, there is a monogram of the Empress's name, on the back side, the anniversary dates are indicated: "1880 / MAY 31 / 1905". A total of 830 jettons and chains for cuirassiers were made at a price of 85 and 15 kopecks respectively. The invoice for their production was paid by the Empress on August 23, 1906, and the money for the completed order was received by the eldest son of Karl Faberge, Eugene.
