This watch fob was awarded to Chang Hsing-hsien (張星賢; 1910-1989) who was a Taiwanese track and field athlete. He began athletics in 1925 after being admitted to Taichung Commercial School (now National Taichung University of Science and Technology). He was admitted to Waseda University in 1931. In 1932, he was selected as a member of the Japanese track and field team at the 10th Los Angeles Olympics, becoming the only Taiwanese athlete and Taiwan's first Olympian. In 1936, he represented Manchukuo on the Japanese track and field team at the 11th Berlin Olympics. In 1946 and 1947, he participated in the 1st and 2nd Taiwan Provincial Games. In 1948, he served as the inaugural president of the Taiwan Provincial Track and Field Association and, as a coach, trained and mentored a new generation of Taiwanese track and field athletes, including Chen Ying-lang, Yang Chuan-kuang, and Ji Zheng. In 1981, he published his autobiography, "Desire, Ideal, Life: Talking About My Over 50 Years of Sports Career."
