St. George's Silver Trumpets awarded to the Astrakhan Cuirassier Regiment in 1813

Length 520 mm, flair rim diameter 130 mm.

Made in St. Petersburg by K. Transchel workshop /К.Траншель/.

St. George's silver trumpets /Георгиевские серебряные трубы/ were awarded to the Astrakhan Cuirassier Regiment on April 13, 1813.

Collection of Russian National Museum of Music.

Upper ray of the cross was lost.

"Астраханскому полку За отличiе при пораженiи и изгнанiи непрiятеля изъ пределовъ России 1812-го года"
"To the Astrakhan Regiment For distinction during the defeat and expulsion of the enemy from the borders of Russia in 1812.”

Length 410 mm /mouthpiece is missing/, flair rim diameter 134 mm.
