Showa Enthronement Attendant’s Badge for Persons with Equivalent Treatment to High-Ranking Officials/高等官同待遇者 昭和大禮使徽章 (丙種徽章)

"Persons with Equivalent Treatment to High-Ranking Officials"/"高等官同待遇者" refer to individuals in pre-war Japan (under the Meiji Constitution) who, while not officially holding the status of "high-ranking officials/高等官" (i.e. Sōninkan and above) received treatment equivalent to that of high-ranking officials in terms of public ceremonies and salaries. This category included teachers and staff of public schools who did not fall under the framework of government officials, and executives of certain affiliated organizations and special companies.
