Orders of St. Saint Stanislaus with Swords and Imperial Crown marked with "Double-headed Eagle inside a Circle" on the ring

Interesting crosses made by an unidentified Russian workshop during 1860s/1870s. All such crosses known to date have a stable set of features, all have flat "black" /dark cherry/ enamel and marked on the ring with two marks: gold hallmark "56" and "double-headed eagle inside a circle" mark.


2nd class cross with Imperial Crown /unfortunately the last one was lost/.

Crown marked with "ИО/IO" for Ivan Osipov, gold hallmark "56" and partly readable year mark "18... and the coat of arms of St. Petersburg". Ring marks are not known.

Cross size 53.5 mm /62.5 mm from the hilt of the sword to the top/.

Marked with a gold hallmark "56" and "double-headed eagle inside a circle" mark.
