At the present time direct evidence of the belonging of this type of crosses to the Paul Meybauer firm has not been found.

These crosses were officially ordered from Militar-Effekten und Orden-Fabrik Paul Meybauer by West Russian Volunteer Army /Западная добровольческая армия, also known as Bermontians was a pro-German military formation in Latvia and Lithuania during the Russian Civil War in 1918–20/ on October 14, 1919.
