Orders of Saint Vladimir from "Epoch of Napoleonic Wars" made by an Unidentified European Workshop

4th class cross with swords.

Gold, silver, gilt, enamel.
Size 40.5 mm.

Unmarked. Cross made in gold while swords /which could be added to the cross later/ made in gilded silver.

Note that balls at the ends of the guards and the hilts of the swords have a very peculiar, if not unique, form.

Weight 15.3 g.

Ring mark is unreadable.

 

Both medallions contain mistake in the "September/СЕНТѦБРѦ". In the first case "Kβ" instead of "ѦБ". In the second case "ВР" instead of "БР".
