Very rare 1st class cross with Imperial Crown and Swords.

Gold, enamel.
Size 77.3×45.1 mm.
Weight 26.70 g.

Swords were added to the badge after 1855. Red enamel /obverse of the left ray of the cross/ was partly restored.

Marked on reverse under the enamel with "double-headed eagle" and "small" maker's mark "IP" for Immanuel Pannasch; loop marked with St. Petersburg assay office mark "Coat of arms of St. Petersburg".

Marked on reverse under the enamel with "double-headed eagle" and maker's mark "IP" for Immanuel Pannasch; loop marked with St. Petersburg assay office mark "Coat of arms of St. Petersburg".

Most likely was awarded to Count Aleksey Alekseyevich Bobrinsky (currently in the the collection of State Historical Museum in Moscow).

Costum-made modification of crown suspension (most likely original fastening was broken).

 

Exemplary 2st class cross made by Pannasch workshop that was awarded on April 16, 1831 to Franz Krauss, Gubernalrat in Lemberg.
