Order of the Elephant awarded to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1947

This excellent specimen was awarded to Prince on November 16, 1947.

Together with the Order of the Redeemer (Greece) on show at St James's Palace in London on April 12, 2021. The medals and decorations conferred on the Duke of Edinburgh by the United Kingdom and other countries across the world, together with his Field Marshal's baton and Royal Air Force Wings, and insignia from Denmark and Greece were later placed on the altar in St George's Chapel, Windsor for his funeral.
