Order of the Elephant awarded on October 15, 2023 to Prince Christian of Denmark

Set that was awarded on October 15, 2023 to Prince Christian who celebrated his 18th birthday on the very same day.

Prince Christian of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, RE (Christian Valdemar Henri John; born 15 October 2005) is a member of the Danish royal family. He is the eldest child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. A grandson of Queen Margrethe II, he has been second in the line of succession to the Danish throne since birth, after his father.​

 

The Royal Court revealed that the regalia given to Prince Christian were those that belonged to his grandfather, Prince Consort Henry. Minor restoration of the badge was made. Monogram affixed to the elephant was also modified. On Prince Consort Henry's elephant was the monogram of his father-in-law, King Frederick IX. Now there is that of Queen Margrethe II.​
