1st variation.

Diamond-cut star of the Order of St. Anne from late 1850s/early 1860s time period.

Silver, gold, enamel.
Size 74x73 mm.
Weight 62.05 g.

Reverse has applied plaque in the form of a shield decorated with coats of arms and orders with an inscription in three lines: “Halley, 143 Galerie de Valois, Palais-Royal.” Pin and clasp marked with French silver hallmark from 1838 to 1919 for the city of Paris "boar's head".

Breast star was made sometime between 1855 and 1867.

 

2nd variation.

Size 62.3×62.7 mm.
Weight 39.58 g.

Pin marked with a French silver hallmark "boar's head" that was introduced in 1838.

 

3rd variation.

Diamond-cut breast star from 1855-1867 time period.

Breast star of a similar workmanship from a pre-1854 time period /it was published in an old German auction catalog/.

Note that in the decorative divider in the form of the flower is missing from a medallion ring with motto. Reverse has a plaque "PALAIS ROYAL 143 · HALLEY · FT DORDRES GRIE VALOIS.PARIS".

 

Halley-made breast star with a diamond-cut rays and medallion type that is very close to the previous breast star.

Weight 61.5 g.

Unfortunately somebody tore off the workshop cartouche from reverse.

 

Breast star with a medallion that has characteristic features of Halley. The base of the breast star could be made by a different workshop.
