Navy Short-Term Active Service Completion Badge/海軍短期現役兵終了章

Graduates of some Japanese civilian universities (military medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, technology, accounting and legal affairs) were eligible for a short-term service in the Imperial Navy. They were awarded the rank of junior officer and worked in their specialty for two (rather than the usual three) years /二年現役士官/. This program helped Navy to meet the ever-increasing demand for a high-skilled specialists. Badge was worn on the right side of the chest.​
