康徳九年 - 1942

渡邊義雄 - Watanabe Yoshio (April 21 , 1907 - July 21, 2000) was a famous Japanese photographer, known for his architectural and imperial-themed works. Pre-war, he gained fame for his photojournalism with Leica cameras, and later contributed to wartime propaganda magazine NIPPON. After the WW2 he received the Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon, Tokyo Metropolitan Culture Award, and Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon.
