Lieutenant General Takateru Inagaki/稲垣孝照 陸軍中将

Lieutenant-General Takateru Inagaki /稲垣孝照; September 20, 1888; October 22, 1944/ was born in September 1878 in Ehime Prefecture as the eldest son of Takanori Inagaki. In 1901, he graduated from the Army War College (12th class) and was appointed as a second lieutenant in the infantry. He served as military attaché to Prince Naruhiko, head of the training department at the Kumamoto Army Local Cadet School, commander of the Nagoya Regimental District, commander of the 10th Infantry Brigade, and superintendent of the Army Academy, and was appointed lieutenant general in 1933.​
