Jetons "For Escorting the Imperial Train"/Жетоны «За сопровождение Императорского поезда»

Jetons “For escorting the Imperial Train” and “For the Highest Visit” https://asiamedals.info/threads/lin...sit-to-ryazan-and-oryol-cities-in-1904.23638/ were established in 1904. They were often awarded to the ranks of the Gendarmerie-Police Security Departments. These jetons were made exclusively by Faberge in three classes: 75 rubles, 40 and 20 rubles. First class /costed 75 rubles/ were awarded only to generals and very rarely /in 1908 to Major General Gerasimov, in 1910 to Major General Kurlov, and in 1911 to Major General Solovyov/.

В 1904 году были учреждены жетоны "За сопровождение Императорского поезда" и "За Высочайшее посещение". Ими особенно активно награждались чины Жандармско-Полицейских управлений и охраны. Жетоны исполнялись исключительно фирмой Фаберже. Они были трех разрядов: 75 руб., 40 и 20 руб. Жетоны первого разряда, за 75 руб. вручались только генералам и очень редко. Золотые жетоны «За сопровождение Императорского поезда» Фаберже за 75 руб. были вручены в 1908 г. – генерал- майору Герасимову, в 1910 г. – генерал-майору Курлову, в 1911 г. – генерал-майору Соловьеву.​

'June 12, 1910. The 1st class jeton most graciously awarded to me for accompanying the Imperial trains during the Highest Travels on the Southern Railways to Livadia and back last year was received by the Head of the Track Service of the Southern Railways, Signature."

Tsabel Sergei Alexandrovich (Сергей Александрович Цабель; 1871–after 1917) – Russian military leader. He received his education in the 4th Moscow Cadet Corps. Entered service on September 1, 1888. Graduated from the Nikolaev Engineering School. He began his service in the 1st Railway Battalion. Second lieutenant (10.08.1889). Lieutenant (08.10.1893). In 1898 he graduated from the Nikolaev Engineering Academy. Staff captain (1898), captain (1900). Since 1902 a tutor at the Nikolaev Engineering Academy and School, since 1904 - full-time teacher at the Nikolaev Engineering Academy and School of Fortification. Lieutenant Colonel (1904). Participant in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–1905. Chief of Staff of the 1st Engineer Brigade (1906–1910). Colonel (1908). Chief of Staff of the Inspector of the Engineering Unit of the St. Petersburg Military District (1910–1914). From January 1914, commander of the 1st Railway Regiment (from 05.06.1915 - His Imperial Majesty's Own Railway Regiment). Major General (1914). Head of the Imperial Train. After the October Revolution he served in the Red Army.​
