The only formal differences between the badges of male special member of the association https://asiamedals.info/threads/jap...le-version-of-special-membership-badge.26331/ and male lifetime special member are blue enamelled metal flower on a ribbon and additional inscription on the case lid (two kanji 終身 - lifetime).​

One of the main manufacturers of these badges was Suzuki workshop /Imperial Medal Works/.
