Early 4th class Orders of Rising Sun with added ribbon rosettes

On October 25, 1886 the Decorations Bureau established additional ribbon rosette (for a better distinction between 5th and 4th classes of the order). Obviously previous recipients affixed rosettes of various designs to the ribbons of their orders.

4th class Rising Sun orders made by Hirata workshop

Set with the photo of cavalier. 平田彦四郎造 - made by Hikoshirō Hirata. Miniature rosette belong to the slightly later period. Same goes for the ribbon rosette.
