Original name: Жетон в память 100-летнего юбилея 14-го драгунского Литовского Его Величества Короля Виктора-Эммануила III полка.

The 14th Lithuanian Dragoon regiment of His Majesty King Victor-Emmanuel III regiment began its history on March 29, 1803 when it was formed from Poles and Lithuanians separated from the Tatar Lithuanian regiment (established in 1797) under the personal supervision of the general from the cavalry of the baron Bennigsen. Renaming several times it received its penultimate name on July 2, 1902. From December 6, 1907 it was called the 5th Lithuanian Uhlansky Regiment of His Majesty King Victor-Emmanuel III. Regiment was part of the 1st brigade of the 5th cavalry division stationed in the city of Wloclavsk, Warsaw province, then in Simbirsk (since 1924 - Ulyanovsk).
