Pyotr Mikhailovich Shorokhov (Russian: Пётр Михайлович Шорохов; 1840, Semipalatinsk - 1914, Tashkent/ was born in Semipalatinsk in 1840.
He studied at the Siberian Cadet Corps in the city of Omsk . He later served in various sapper battalions. Participated in almost all campaigns to conquer Central Asia from Verny (now Alma-Ata) to Kokand and Bukhara . Participated in the capture of the fortified cities of Pishpek, Chimkent, Khujand, Tashkent, Kokand and others.
He rose to the rank of Major General. By the highest order of June 18, 1906 he was dismissed with promotion to Lieutenant General with a uniform, pension, weapons and regalia. Buried in 1914 in Tashkent at the Botkinsky cemetery in the Gorizdro family vault.
