The only formal differences between badges of regular member of the association and lifetime regular member are silvered metal flower on a ribbon and additional inscription on the case lid (two kanji 終身 - lifetime). But apparently due to the fact that the badges (and cases) in all other respects do not differ from each other we often find "mix and match": badges without silvered metal flower are found with the cases with additional life member inscriptions and vice versa.
One of the main manufacturers of these badges was Suzuki workshop /Imperial Medal Works/.
