Second battle of Shanghai lasted from August 13, 1937, to November 26, 1937. Shanghai Refugee Relief Association was founded by Shanghai wealthy comprador, a banker, and a tycoon Yu Qiaqing, who served as its president. It raised nearly 10 million yuan and helped more than 400,000 refugees.
