In recognition of the excellent and diligent service of Senator and Privy Councilor Pavel Gerakov for half a century, We have, in Our Most Gracious Name, appointed him a Knight of the IMPERIAL AND ROYAL Order of OUR White Eagle. Therefore, We Command the Chapter to issue this Knight the insignia of the Order and a certificate for it.

Pavel Konstantinovich Gerakov (Павел Константинович Гераков; 1842 – 1914) – member of the St. Petersburg Judicial Chamber, senator. From the hereditary nobility of the Novgorod province. The son of a colonel. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg University with a PhD in Law.

In 1864, he joined the St. Petersburg Oberpolizei (chief of police) as a clerk and was soon appointed bailiff of the Moscow branch of the St. Petersburg police. In 1866, he was appointed a judicial investigator for the city of St. Petersburg , in 1868, a temporary judicial investigator at the St. Petersburg District Court to conduct investigations of particularly important cases, and in 1871, a member of the St. Petersburg Judicial Chamber. By imperial order, he repeatedly conducted investigations into state crimes and audited magistrate court rulings in various districts.

On April 25, 1901, he was appointed a senator present in the Criminal Cassation Department of the Governing Senate , and promoted to privy councilor. In 1911, by imperial decree, he was appointed to preside over the trial of the former Moscow mayor, Major General A. A. Reinbot. From 1897 onward, he served continuously as an honorary justice of the peace for Krestetsky District, Novgorod Governorate.

He died in 1914 at his family estate, Zabereni.​
