1864 Expedition Against Ben Gdahoum Commemorative Medal

Médaille commémorative de l’expédition contre l’insurrection de Ben Gdahoum was established by Muhammad as-Sadiq Pasha-Bey in 1866. Medal was awarded to those who took part in the military expedition to suppress the tribal uprising led by Ben Gdahoum who was defeated at the Battle of Sousse on October 7, 1864 and later captured in Tunis on April 27, 1865.​

According to one source medal "was awarded in two classes, an oval medal in gold (officers) and silver (other ranks)".

But according to the original drawings made by M. Delande workshop oval medal was awarded for the 1867 Expedition /insurrection of d'Adel Bey/.
